4–5 days is the sweet spot for Las Vegas. It's enough time to experience the Strip thoroughly, catch a show or two, take a Grand Canyon day trip, and visit Fremont Street. Longer stays work well if you're attending a specific sports event or combining Las Vegas with a national parks road trip.
Yes, modern Las Vegas has plenty for families. Circus Circus has an indoor theme park, the Discovery Children's Museum is excellent, and many resort pools are family-friendly. Older children love the spectacle of the Strip. That said, casinos are adults-only and some shows are 18+.
The central Strip area – between the Bellagio and the MGM Grand – puts you within walking distance of most major attractions, the best restaurants, and the Bellagio fountains. The Cosmopolitan, Aria, and Park MGM are all excellent choices at this location.
Absolutely, and it's one of our most-booked USA itineraries. Las Vegas is 4–5 hours from Los Angeles by car or 1 hour by flight. A common routing is to fly into LA, explore California for a week, then drive or fly to Las Vegas for 4–5 nights before flying home.
Las Vegas can be extremely affordable or genuinely extravagant depending on your choices. Hotel rates on weekdays can be very reasonable even at Strip mega-resorts. Food ranges from cheap buffets to celebrity chef restaurants charging INR 20,000+ per head. We recommend setting a daily entertainment budget and planning ahead to avoid impulse overspending.
